When our owner leaves to go to Las Vegs and attend the WWIN Show.
This year the show is held from Monday, August 7 – Thursday, August 10, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV. The show runs from 9AM-7PM and that means LONG DAYS!
WWIN, or Womenswear In Nevada, is a Wholesale Women’s Apparel show, that offers 1,500+ lines from over 400 exhibitors. The show offers countless designs in almost every category, all price points, and styles from modern updated, petite, tall, plus size, contemporary and traditional. This is the ideal place to see the newest introductions and breaking trends for the upcoming buying season.
Although the show starts on Monday August 7, our owner Colleen enjoys getting a jump start and leaves a bit early. If you didn't know, Colleen ALWAYS runs a sale online and instore. This year, the store is running a BOGO 50% OFF Sale. The more you buy, the more items she can buy and bring in to the store for next season.
(We all know that woman want new styles!)
This year Colleen plans purchasing anywhere from 50-125 lines. Some new, and some older that are customers fully enjoy and want to see back. These brands usually include Valentina, Dolcezza, Fashion Cage, LuLu B, and Damee just to name a few.
Both older and newer lines she enjoys, she will put orders in right at the show. Once the orders are submitted, the store starts receiving the shipments anywhere from 1 week all the way to 2 months later.
When Colleen returns from market, she normally has to go over everything she put orders in for. At that point, we start the intake when it arrives, some days we could get 1 box and other days it could be 10+ boxes, and that means WE ARE BUSY!
This means new tops, tunics, pants, vests, jewelry, hats, and other new items that may come in.
The only question now is, WHAT DO YOU THINK COLLEEN WILL BUY THIS YEAR?!
